Our client, a leading digital advertising agency, is seeking a dynamic, highly organized, and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee the management and nationwide deployment of a cutting-edge digital display network across the United States. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of the deployment process, from planning and execution to ongoing operations and maintenance of the network. The Operations Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure the smooth, timely, and successful roll-out and operation of the digital display network.

Key Responsibilities

Network Deployment Management :

  • Lead the end-to-end deployment of the digital display network across the USA.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely installation and activation of displays.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, milestones, and schedules, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Oversee logistics, supply chain management, and installation processes for digital display hardware and software.
  • Monitor and manage the deployment progress, identify and resolve potential delays or issues, and proactively mitigate risks.

Operations Management :

  • Ensure the seamless day-to-day operation of the digital display network, including monitoring performance, content updates, and system health.
  • Implement efficient processes for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of the display network to minimize downtime.
  • Work with the technical team to ensure that the network infrastructure and display systems are optimized for maximum performance and reliability.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures, training materials, and best practices for all aspects of network operation and maintenance.

Vendor and Stakeholder Management :

  • Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring that service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., IT, marketing, sales) and external partners to align network deployments with business goals.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors and ensure that all operational agreements are adhered to.

Budget and Resource Management :

  • Develop and manage the operations budget for the digital display network deployment and maintenance.
  • Monitor and control operational costs to meet financial targets and improve overall profitability.
  • Ensure effective resource allocation and staffing across projects and manage resource requirements to meet project timelines.

Data and Reporting:

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the digital display network and generate regular reports for senior management.
  • Analyze operational data and use insights to drive continuous improvement in network performance and deployment efficiency.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on the status of deployments, challenges, successes, and milestones achieved.

Safety and Compliance :

  • Ensure that all installations and operations adhere to local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure the network's compliance with all applicable laws and industry regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field. (Master's degree is a plus.)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, project management, or network deployment, preferably in digital displays, telecommunications, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale network deployments across multiple locations.
  • Strong knowledge of digital display technology, hardware, and software solutions.
  • Expertise in supply chain management, vendor negotiation, and contract management.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Preferred Qualifications :

  • PMP (Project Management Professional)
  • Experience in digital large-scale network rollouts.
  • Familiarity with the latest digital display technologies and industry trends.
  • Ability to travel as needed (up to 25% of the time) across the USA to oversee deployment activities.
